Steve’s Pantry is a 100% volunteer-led organization serving the greater New Braunfels area with compassion, dignity, and hope. Each month, we provide food, hygiene supplies, ready-to-eat meals, showers, laundry access, laptops, and counseling support to over 2,000 individuals each month—no qualifications.
Our story began in 2010, sparked by the generosity of a man named Steve Zunk whose simple wish—“Don’t churches feed hungry people?”—inspired a movement. What started in a church closet has grown into a vital lifeline for our community, offering barrier-free support to anyone in need.
Steve’s Pantry is more than just a food pantry. It's a place where everyone is greeted with a warm smile and treated with respect. None of this would be possible without the heart and dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of donors like you.
