St. Louis Catholic School was founded in Castroville, Texas in 1868 by the Sisters of Divine Providence and currently serves students in grades 3k - 5th.

St. Louis School provides an environment for each child to grow, learn, and develop to his/her potential – spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically. Students enjoy a well-rounded education in religion, guidance, English, language arts (reading, spelling, and writing), mathematics, science, social studies, handwriting, health and physical education, fine arts, social experiences, and extra-curricular activities.

SLCS welcomes all Christian faiths and offers opportunities for Christian growth through daily religion classes, weekly liturgies, and sacramental programs.
