For nineteen years, SNIPSA has been saving lives in San Antonio, one pet at a time. What started in a backyard with a few passionate animal lovers has grown into a full-fledged rescue with a dedicated staff and a network of incredible volunteers and fosters.

Our mission has always been simple: reduce the homeless pet population and give every animal a fighting chance. We do this in two powerful ways:

Rescue & Adoption: We pull animals at risk of euthanasia from local shelters, provide them with the medical care they need, and place them in loving forever homes.

Spay/Neuter Outreach: Through our no-cost and low-cost programs, we remove barriers for pet owners and provide life-saving services that prevent countless unwanted litters.

The impact? Thousands of animals rescued, thousands more prevented from entering overcrowded shelters, and an entire community working together to reduce euthanasia rates.
