Our Mission The mission of Planned Parenthood South Texas is to strengthen our communities’ health outcomes by providing, advocating for, and expanding equitable access to health care and education.

Our Vision PPST envisions a world in which all people can equitably access personalized, high-quality, evidence-based, and non-judgmental health care and wellness they need and deserve to be in control of their lives. PPST prioritizes reproductive health care and education while offering primary care and other essential health care service.

Who We Are As the largest provider of sexual and reproductive health care in the region, Planned Parenthood South Texas empowers tens of thousands of South Texans every year to move their lives and their families forward. Founded in 1939, Planned Parenthood South Texas offers high-quality services at five health centers in San Antonio and two health centers in the Rio Grande Valley and via telehealth.

We provide birth control, STI testing and treatment, annual well-woman exams, clinical breast exams, pregnancy testing, pelvic exams, gestational ultrasounds, cervical cancer prevention and screenings, perimenopause and menopause care, gender-affirming care for transgender adults, male sexual health exams, treatment for gynecological infections, PrEP HIV prevention, primary care, and more.
