New Braunfels Food Bank

Fighting hunger and feeding hope in New Braunfels and Southwest Texas.

Founded in 2010, the New Braunfels Food Bank is a branch facility of the San Antonio Food Bank. The mission of the New Braunfels Food Bank is to fight hunger in Southwest Texas through food distribution, programs, education, and advocacy. We believe that no child should go to bed hungry, adults should not have to choose between a hot meal and utilities, nor a senior sacrifice medical care for the sake of a meal. 

The New Braunfels Food Bank continues to grow as a trusted resource serving Comal and Guadalupe counties. Our branch not only provides critical food through distributions and our client-choice pantry, but also through our supportive community programs. Additionally, we began construction of the Apple Seed Apartments, an innovative 52-unit housing complex slated for completion in 2027 that will provide safe, stable housing for neighbors, making our Food Bank the is the first food bank in the nation to build affordable housing.
