At the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas, our doors are the first steps families take into a place of belonging, hope, and support. For many, it’s where their journey with community truly begins. But right now, it can be a challenge for some. It's heavy, outdated and not fully ADA compliant. 

With your help, we can raise $20,000 to fund a new, fully accessible front door—one that provides safety, ease of use, and a welcoming entrance for every child, adult, and family who walks through it.

Who We Are

To provide lifelong services and support to individuals with Down syndrome and their families to optimize well-being, develop rewarding relationships, and foster inclusion in the community.

The DSASTX provides opportunities for families to foster friendships and offer mutual support through Parent Information Meetings, community-based social activities, special events, and recreational & educational programs.
