St. John Henry Newman Academy

St. John Henry Newman Academy is a Christ-centered cottage school, which follows a homeschool support model. Our mission is to seek truth, beauty, and goodness—in Christ, through Christ, and for Christ—so that all we learn and do is rooted in Him and directed toward His glory. 

We are raising funding for our operational costs, marketing initiatives, and for an increase in budget as we continue to grow! In the coming months, we will need to break out our large Jr. Kinder-Kinder class into two classes, as well as our 1st - 2nd grades into two classes. In order to keep instructor/student ratios small, we need additional instructors, classroom space, and the budget to make it happen! 

Our small-format school model allows every child to learn at an appropriate pace—academically, developmentally, and spiritually. Because our classes are intentionally small, instruction is not limited by the pace of a single learner, nor is it driven by a one-size-fits-all curriculum. 

We challenge advanced learners and support those who need extra guidance, helping every student realize their full academic potential. Each child is taught as a unique person, capable of growth according to his or her own gifts and needs.

Many families experience significant stress from having to travel to multiple locations for different lessons, therapies, and activities for their children. To help ease this burden, we have created a “one-stop-shop” model where as many services and programs as possible are available in one central location. This approach helps simplify family schedules, reduce time on the road, and create a more balanced and manageable rhythm for home and school life.

Our program offers an all-inclusive environment where academics and enrichment come together. In addition to a strong classical education, students have access to art and music classes, physical education and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and creative arts and crafts such as sewing and crocheting.
