Thousands of children in our community suffer the loss of loved one at some point in their life, but what comes next? At the Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas, it is our belief that children deserve an expressive outlet for their grief. This can be through art therapy, play therapy, music, dance, or meaningful connection with one of our licensed professional counselors. All services at our Center are provided at no cost to families.  It is our hope that funds raised through The Big Give will help to ensure that no family will have to walk the difficult journey of grief alone.

This Big Give, we're working to support the creation of our care kits, intentional bundles of sensory items and resources for families to self-regulate and find hope and healing. Since July, we have distributed over 500 of these volunteer-created kits. With your support this Big Give, we can expand our reach across South Texas.
